To Download and Install a Product

1. Go to the URL listed below for the product you are receiving.
2. Click Save or Run as appropriate.
   Depending on your browser settings, you might be asked whether to save or run the installation file. If you will be installing the product on more than one computer, it might be best to save the file and copy it to a disc or a server.
3. Double-click the installation file (if you saved it) and follow the instructions.
   Caution: For some products, you will see a window with a Buy Now button. Do not click this button. Instead, click the link at the bottom that says Close Now - Subscribe Later and follow the activation instructions below.
4. Activate the product according to the instructions in the following sections of this email.

Activating Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, or Norton 360 on Windows Computers

When you install these products, you set up a 60-day trial account that you convert to a full-year active account as follows:

1. Launch your product.
2. At the bottom of the main console click Subscribe in the Subscription Status area.
3. In the Subscription window, enter one of the product keys from the Product Keys section below and click Subscribe Now.

Activating Norton Ghost or Norton Utilities

When you install these products, you install a 30-day trial version that you convert to a regular active product by getting a product key from the Product Keys section below and entering it in the product's activation window. The activation window appears at various times:

• At the end of installation
• When the computer or application is started
• For Norton Ghost: when you choose Help > Enter License Key
• For Norton Utilities: when you click Activate Now in the main console

Activating Norton Smartphone Security

Enter one of the product keys from the Product Keys section below when it is requested during installation.

Activating Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh or Norton Internet Security for Macintosh

No product key is needed to activate these products: they are activated when installed.
